New construction modern going up in Vestavia Hills! The architect on this one is Robert Thompson and Bluestone Building Company is doing the construction. The lot was procured in 2023 according to Zillow records and building began in October 2024.
The home features a nice blending of floor-to-ceiling picture windows and locally sourced stone around the entry. The central family room area appears to soar 12-14 foot in height flanked on all sides with clerestory windows to let the natural light in. At the rear is a large covered patio with built in fireplace overlooking the pool and wooded lot. From the architect:
We selected two different stone sizes from Alabama Wholesale Stone and mixed them together to create a natural rustic appearance. Really gives the home a warm comfortable look that blends into the surrounding landscape.
